Robert Peters has extensive experience and expertise in the field of child sexual abuse and institutional abuse cases. He has worked with and trained rural and urban CACs, prosecutors, and law enforcement across the United States. He has also overseen numerous independent, third-party investigations into allegations of abuse within various settings.*

Robert draws on over a decade of relevant experience in the investigation and response to institutional abuse, including within faith communities. He can educate triers of fact on the unique dynamics of clergy sexual abuse, including grooming behaviors, spiritual abuse tactics, and the role of institutional secrecy.
Note: Due to his current role, Robert solely provides testimony regarding clergy misconduct in criminal cases.
